Traditional Chinese culture主题英语手抄报

为了激发学生的英语学习兴趣，培养学生的综合语言运用能力，让学生在英语活动中体会到英语学科魅力，南康区龙华中学在五月开启了以快乐英语，幸福童年——“Traditional Chinese culture，了解中华传统文化！”为主题的英语活动月，引导师生在活动中以英语的表达方式，全方位感受中华民族传统文化，了解中华民族的人文景观、风土人情、文化精髓等。

1. The Mid-Autumn Festival。中秋庆贺着期待着丰收,因此也期待着和谐“和”是我国传统文化的核心价值追求。中秋佳节阖家团圆、邻里和睦、阶层和合、社区安定、民族团圆、家国和谐、世界大同,其乐融融。正如苏东坡说的“但愿人长久,千里共婵娟”,张九龄说的“海上生明月,天涯共此时。”

2. Dragon boat festival，5月初五。端午节最初是夏季的一个驱除瘟疫的节日，后来人们将端午节，作为纪念屈原的节日。挂艾草，挂菖蒲，喝雄黄酒，为了避邪。等传统习惯，由于寄语广大名字众多，加上许多故事传说，至今流传在中国各地及邻近诸国优秀活动。后来有赛龙舟等得到新的发展，成国际性的体育赛事。早在几千年来屈原的爱国精神和感人诗词，广泛深入人心。

3. The lantern festival.正月十五这一天晚上，中国人素有赏花灯、吃汤圆、吃元宵、猜灯谜、放烟花等一系列传统民俗活动。其它传说纪念“平吕”传说元宵节是汉文帝时为纪念“平吕”而设。

4. Spring festival,春节中国最重要的传统节日，已经有数千年的历史，这一天不仅仅是年末岁首的节点，更蕴含了丰富的文化内涵，在中国人心中有着无比重要的地位。”

故事一：stump watching

A farmer of Sung saw a rabbit dash into a tree trunk standing in the middle of his field. The rabbit broke its neck and died. From that day, the farmer left his plowing and kept watching by the tree trunk in hopes of getting another rabbit. The farmer never got another rabbit, but he did become the laughing stock of Sung.

The story told us no pain, no gain,no one can reap where one has not sown.

故事二：Yugong movey a mountain

Once upon a time, There were two mountains, Taihang and Wangwu near his house.They were so high and big that it took a long time to walk to the other side. One day ,Yugong called in his family and said that they should all help him to move the mountains. But his wife said, “Where would you put all the earth and stone fromthe mountains?” Yugong ’s family said they could put it into Bohai. So they all started digging the next day.

One day, a man named Zhisou saw Yugong and his children while they were working on moving the mountains. He told Yugong,“ You can never do it. You are very old now. You can’t even move a corner of the mountains.”As soon as the man finished talking, Yugong said “My family can continue to move the mountains. After I die, there will still be my children ,my grandchildren, my great grandchildren. My family will live and grow, but the mountains can’t get bigger.” Zhisou had nothing to say.

A god was so moved by Yugong that he sent two gods to take the mountains away.

The story reminds us that you can never know what’s possible unless you try to make it happen.
